Dear Lord, I pray that we may always remain steadfast in our faith and not be swayed by those who preach another Jesus or a different spirit. Help us to discern the truth and not accept any other “good news” that goes against your teachings. May we always stand firm in our belief in you and not be led astray. Amen.
Verse: For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we didn’t preach, or if you receive a different spirit which you didn’t receive, or a different “good news” which you didn’t accept, you put up with that well enough.
2 Corinthians 11:4
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not accept or tolerate preaching of another Jesus, a different spirit, or a different “good news” than what was originally preached.
