Praying from 2 Corinthians 11:3. Themes: Deception, Corruption, Simplicity

Dear Lord, I come before you with a humble heart, acknowledging that I am prone to being deceived by the enemy’s craftiness. I pray that you would protect my mind and heart from being corrupted by anything that would lead me away from the simplicity that is found in Christ. Help me to stay focused on your truth and to resist any temptation that would lead me astray. May your Holy Spirit guide me and keep me steadfast in my faith. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:3

This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader to guard their minds against being corrupted from the simplicity of Christ, just as Eve was deceived by the serpent.
