Dear Lord, I pray for the elders among us. May they be encouraged and strengthened by your Holy Spirit. As a fellow elder, I ask that you guide them in their leadership roles and help them to lead with wisdom and compassion. May they be witnesses of the sufferings of Christ and share in the glory that will be revealed. Help them to be faithful and steadfast in their service to you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
