Dear God, please help me to shepherd the flock of believers that you have placed among me. May I exercise oversight with a willing heart, not out of compulsion or for dishonest gain. Help me to serve your people with joy and love, always seeking to honor you in all that I do. Thank you for entrusting me with this responsibility, and may I always rely on your strength and guidance to fulfill it. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
