Dear God, I come before you today to confess my sins and shortcomings. I know that I have fallen short of your glory and have made mistakes that have hurt others and myself. But I believe in your promise that if I confess my sins, you are faithful and righteous to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. So I claim this promise today and ask for your forgiveness and cleansing. Thank you for your love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
