Praying from 1 John 1:10 relating to Sin, Truth, Faith.
Dear God, I come before you acknowledging that I am not perfect and have sinned. I confess my shortcomings and ask for your forgiveness. Help me to always be truthful with myself and with you, and to never deny my mistakes. I know that if I say I haven’t sinned, I make you a liar, and I don’t want to do that. Please let your word be in me and guide me to live a life that is pleasing to you. Amen.
Verse: If we say that we haven’t sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:10
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to acknowledge their sinfulness and not deny it, otherwise they are making God a liar and rejecting His word.
