Dear God, I come before you humbly and acknowledge that I have sinned against you and done what is evil in your sight. I claim the promise that you will be proved right when you speak and justified when you judge. I ask for your forgiveness and for the strength to turn away from my sinful ways. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you and to always seek your will. Thank you for your love and mercy. Amen.

Psalms 51:4
This is a Promise.
The verse is a confession of sin and a recognition of God’s righteousness. The promise is that God will be proven right and justified in His judgment.
