Prayer based on Proverbs 11:27. Themes: Good, Evil, Diligence

Dear Lord, help me to diligently seek good in all that I do. May I always strive to do what is right and pleasing in your sight. Grant me your favor as I seek to follow your ways and live a life that honors you. Protect me from the temptation to search after evil, and keep me from harm. May your goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: He who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but he who searches after evil, it shall come to him.
Proverbs 11:27

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to diligently seek good in order to find favor, and warns against searching for evil as it will come to them.
