Prayer based on Proverbs 17:11. Themes: Rebellion, Consequences, Justice.
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise in Proverbs 17:11. I pray that you would protect me from the schemes of the evil one who seeks only rebellion. I ask that you would send a cruel messenger against him, to thwart his plans and bring justice to those who have been wronged. I trust in your sovereignty and your ability to bring about good even in the midst of evil. Thank you for your faithfulness and your promise to protect and defend your children. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: An evil man seeks only rebellion; therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.
Proverbs 17:11
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that an evil person who seeks rebellion will ultimately face consequences in the form of a cruel messenger being sent against them.
