Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that none of the rulers of this world have known the wisdom and truth that you have revealed to us. I claim this promise and ask that you continue to reveal your truth to me and guide me in your ways. I pray that I may never be deceived by the wisdom of this world and that I may always seek your truth above all else. Thank you for sending your Son, the Lord of glory, to save us from our sins. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians 2:8
