Dear God,
I thank you for the promise that when all things have been subjected to your Son, he will also himself be subjected to you, so that you may be all in all. I claim this promise today and trust in your faithfulness to bring it to fruition.
May your Son reign supreme in my life and in the world, and may all things be brought under his authority. I pray that you would help me to submit to him fully and to live in a way that honors and glorifies him.
Thank you for the hope and assurance that you will one day be all in all. I trust in your sovereignty and look forward to the day when your kingdom will come in its fullness.

This is a Promise. The verse is describing the ultimate submission of all things to God, and the promise that the Son will also submit to God, resulting in God being all in all.
