Dear Yahweh,

I claim the promise that you will make my enemies as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. I trust that you will swallow them up in your wrath and that the fire shall devour them. I know that you are a just and righteous God who will not let the wicked go unpunished.

I pray that you will protect me from the schemes of my enemies and that you will give me the strength to overcome any obstacles that come my way. Help me to trust in your power and your love, knowing that you are always with me.

Thank you for your promise to be my shield and my defender. I trust in your unfailing love and your mighty power to keep me safe and secure.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
