Dear God, I come before you today claiming the promise that your word, the word of the cross, is the power of God to us who are being saved. I pray that you would help me to understand and embrace this truth, even when it seems foolish to those who are dying. I trust in your power to save and transform me through the message of the cross. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.
