Dear Lord, please help me to always approach the act of eating and drinking in a worthy way. May I always discern your body and remember the sacrifice you made for me. Please forgive me if I have ever taken communion lightly or without proper reverence. Help me to always honor you in all that I do. Amen.

Verse: For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.
1 Corinthians 11:29
