Praying from 1 Corinthians 11:19. Themes: Factions, Approval, Revelation.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that there must be factions among us so that those who are approved may be revealed. I pray that you would help me to trust in your sovereignty and purpose in allowing these divisions to occur. May I have the discernment to recognize those who are approved by you and to follow their lead. Help me to remain steadfast in my faith and to seek your will above all else. Thank you for the assurance that you are working all things together for my good and for your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is saying that factions will arise among the readers, but this is necessary in order to reveal who among them are truly approved or genuine in their faith.
