Praying from 1 Corinthians 3:3. Themes: Jealousy, Strife, Factions

Dear Lord, I come before you acknowledging that I am still fleshly. I confess that at times I have allowed jealousy, strife, and factions to take root in my heart and cause division among those around me. Help me to recognize these tendencies within myself and surrender them to you. I pray that you would transform my heart and mind so that I may walk in your ways and not in the ways of men. May your love and grace flow through me, bringing unity and peace to those around me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?
1 Corinthians 3:3

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to not be fleshly and to not walk in the ways of men, specifically by avoiding jealousy, strife, and factions.
