Dear Lord, I thank you for the spiritual nourishment you have provided me with. I acknowledge that there are times when I am not ready for the solid food of your word, and I ask for your guidance and patience as I continue to grow in my faith. Help me to be receptive to your teachings and to trust in your timing. May I always hunger for your truth and be open to the ways in which you are working in my life. Amen.
Verse: I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,
1 Corinthians 3:2
This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to be ready for solid food instead of just milk.
