Dear Lord, in the midst of the chaos and confusion of this world, we often find ourselves surrounded by conflicting voices and opinions. Just as the commander in this verse struggled to discern the truth amidst the noise, we too can feel overwhelmed and uncertain. But we know that you are the source of all truth and wisdom. Help us to tune out the distractions and focus on your voice above all others. Guide us to the safety and security of your loving embrace, even in the midst of turmoil. Amen.
Verse: Some shouted one thing and some another, among the crowd. When he couldn’t find out the truth because of the noise, he commanded him to be brought into the barracks.
