Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in your word. You have said that you are the bread which comes down out of heaven, and that anyone who eats of it will not die. I pray that you will fill me with your life-giving bread, so that I may never hunger or thirst again. May your presence sustain me and give me strength for each day. Thank you for your promise of eternal life, and for the hope that it brings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.
John 6:50
