Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given us through your word. You have said that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and on the third day, rise again. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to trust in your plan for my life. Help me to remember that even in the darkest moments, you are with me and that you have already overcome the world. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the hope that we have in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
