Prayer based on Luke 16:22. Themes: Death, Wealth, Heaven
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that the beggar who died was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. I claim this promise for myself and for my loved ones who have passed away. I pray that they are now in your loving embrace, surrounded by your angels and at peace. I also pray for those who may have lived a life of wealth and privilege, that they may come to know you and your love before it is too late. Thank you for the assurance that death is not the end, but a new beginning in your presence. Amen.
