Prayer based on Luke 16:26. Themes: Separation, Impossibility, Afterlife.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the promise that there is a great gulf fixed between us and the enemy, and that no one may cross over from there to us. I claim this promise today and declare that the enemy has no power over me. I am protected by your love and grace, and nothing can separate me from your presence.
I pray that you would strengthen my faith and help me to trust in your promises. May I always remember that you are with me, and that I am never alone. Thank you for your unfailing love and for the assurance that I am safe in your hands.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that those who want to pass from here to you are not able, and that no one may cross over from there to us.’

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that there is an unbridgeable gap between the afterlife destinations of the righteous and the wicked.
