Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you will testify to my five brothers so that they won’t come into the place of torment. I pray that you will open their hearts and minds to receive your truth and salvation. May they come to know you as their Lord and Savior and experience the peace and joy that comes from a relationship with you. Thank you for your faithfulness and love towards us. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement made by a character in a parable, not a direct command or instruction to the reader. The statement is a promise that if someone were to testify to the character’s five brothers, they would be saved from the place of torment mentioned earlier in the parable.
