Praying from 1 Peter 1:13 relating to Preparation, Sobriety, Hope

Dear Lord, please help me to prepare my mind for action. Help me to be sober and focused on you, and to set my hope fully on the grace that will be brought to me at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Please guide me and strengthen me as I seek to follow you and live out your will in my life. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the promise of eternal life with you. Amen.
