Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that my life is in your hands. Help me to remember that I do not know what tomorrow holds, but I trust that you have a plan for my life. May I live each day with purpose and intention, knowing that my time on this earth is short. Thank you for the reminder that my life is like a vapor, here for a little time and then gone. May I use the time I have to glorify you and make a difference in the world. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Yet you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
James 4:14

This is a Promise. The verse is a reminder that life is fleeting and unpredictable, and that we should not take it for granted. It encourages us to live in the present moment and make the most of the time we have.
