Praying from Titus 2:2 relating to Wisdom, Self-control, Faithfulness

Dear Lord, we pray that older men may be filled with your wisdom and grace. May they be temperate in all things, showing self-control and moderation in their actions and words. May they be sensible, making wise decisions and guiding others with sound advice. Help them to be sober-minded, free from the distractions and temptations of this world. May they be sound in faith, trusting in you and living out your truth. May they be filled with love, showing kindness and compassion to those around them. And may they persevere in their faith, never giving up or losing hope. We ask all of this in your holy name. Amen.

Verse: that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance,
Titus 2:2

This is a Command. The verse instructs older men to exhibit certain qualities such as temperance, sensibility, sobriety, faith, love, and perseverance.
