Praying from 2 Corinthians 7:10. Themes: Repentance, Salvation, Sorrow
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you with a heart full of sorrow and repentance. I know that godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. I claim this promise today, Lord, and ask that you help me to turn away from my sins and turn towards you.
I pray that you would fill me with your Holy Spirit, that I may have the strength and courage to resist the temptations of the world. I know that the sorrow of the world produces death, but with your help, I can overcome and find true life in you.
Thank you for your grace and mercy, Lord. I trust in your promise that godly sorrow leads to salvation, and I pray that you would continue to guide me on this journey of faith.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
