Praying from 2 Corinthians 7:11. Themes: Grief, Care, Purity

Dear Lord, I thank you for the godly grief that I have experienced. I pray that this grief will continue to work in me an earnest care for your will and your ways. May it also produce in me a defense of your truth, indignation towards sin, fear of your judgment, longing for your presence, zeal for your kingdom, and vindication of your name. Help me to demonstrate purity in all areas of my life, and may my actions always bring glory to you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: For behold, this same thing, that you were grieved in a godly way, what earnest care it worked in you. Yes, what defense, indignation, fear, longing, zeal, and vindication! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in the matter.
2 Corinthians 7:11

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to demonstrate themselves as pure in all matters, as shown through their defense, indignation, fear, longing, zeal, and vindication.
