Praying from 1 Corinthians 6:16. Themes: Unity, Sexual Immorality, Marriage
Dear Lord, help us to understand the sacredness of our bodies and the intimacy that comes with joining with another person. May we honor and respect ourselves and others, and not engage in actions that degrade or harm ourselves or others. Help us to remember that when we join with another, we become one flesh, and may we always strive to build healthy and loving relationships. Amen.
Verse: Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, “The two”, he says, “will become one flesh.”

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to understand that when someone engages in sexual activity with a prostitute, they become one body with them.
