Dear God, I thank you through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for the grace and mercy you have shown me. Help me to serve your law with my mind and to resist the temptations of sin that come with my flesh. Strengthen me to live a life that is pleasing to you and to always seek your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God’s law, but with the flesh, sin’s law.
Romans 7:25
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to serve God’s law with their mind, while avoiding sin’s law with their flesh.
