Dear Yahweh, please help me to see my own ways clearly and to recognize any impure motives that may be driving my actions. Give me the humility to acknowledge my faults and the strength to make changes where necessary. May my heart be pure and my intentions be aligned with your will. Thank you for weighing my motives and guiding me towards righteousness. Amen.
Verse: All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes, but Yahweh weighs the motives.
Proverbs 16:2
This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to recognize that their own perception of their actions may not be accurate and that Yahweh is the ultimate judge of their motives. The reader is being urged to seek God’s guidance and wisdom in evaluating their actions and intentions.
