Praying from Philippians 3:20 relating to Citizenship, Savior, Jesus Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the promise that our citizenship is in heaven. We are grateful that we are not citizens of this world, but citizens of your kingdom. We eagerly await the return of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will come to take us home.

We claim this promise today and ask that you help us to live as citizens of heaven while we are still on earth. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and to live in a way that honors him. May we be a light in this world, pointing others to the hope that we have in Christ.

Thank you for the assurance that we have in you. We trust in your promises and look forward to the day when we will be with you forever.

In Jesus’ name we pray,
