Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for the promise that you, being raised from the dead, will never die again. Death no longer has dominion over you. I claim this promise for myself and for all those who believe in you. May we live in the assurance that death has no power over us because of your victory over it. Help us to trust in you and to live our lives in the light of your resurrection. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over him!
