Dear Lord, I claim the promise that just as it was credited to Abraham for righteousness, so too will my faith be credited to me as righteousness. I trust in your unfailing love and grace, and I believe that you will fulfill your promises in my life. Help me to walk in faith and obedience, knowing that you are with me every step of the way. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the assurance of salvation that comes through faith in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Therefore it also was “credited to him for righteousness.”
Romans 4:22

This is a Promise. The verse is referring to Abraham and how his faith was credited to him as righteousness. It is not giving a command to the reader.
