Praying from Romans 4:9. Themes: Faith, Righteousness, Circumcision

Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness. I ask that you bless me, not just because of my physical attributes or background, but because of my faith in you. May this promise extend to all who believe in you, whether circumcised or uncircumcised. Help me to trust in you and your promises, just as Abraham did. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for accounting my faith as righteousness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Is this blessing then pronounced only on the circumcised, or on the uncircumcised also? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness.
Romans 4:9

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness, regardless of whether he was circumcised or not. It is a promise that faith, not physical circumcision, is what brings righteousness.
