Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for the promise that you have given me, that I am a guide of the blind and a light to those who are in darkness. I claim this promise today and ask that you would help me to live up to this calling. Give me the wisdom and discernment to lead those who are lost and in need of guidance. Help me to be a shining light in the darkness, pointing others towards you and your love. I pray that through my words and actions, others would come to know you and experience the hope and joy that only you can bring. Thank you for choosing me to be a vessel of your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
