Dear God, as the night fades away and the day draws near, I pray that you help me to cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. May your light shine upon me and guide me in all my ways. Help me to walk in righteousness and truth, and to resist the temptations of the enemy. Strengthen me with your power and fill me with your love, so that I may be a light to those around me. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the hope that comes with a new day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: The night is far gone, and the day is near. Let’s therefore throw off the deeds of darkness, and let’s put on the armor of light.
