Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that you would help me to put on your righteousness and to resist the temptations of the flesh. Please give me the strength to make no provision for the desires of my sinful nature, but to instead seek after your will and your ways. Help me to walk in your light and to live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your grace and your mercy, and for the power of your Holy Spirit that enables me to overcome the world. In your precious name I pray, Amen.

Verse: But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
Romans 13:14
