Praying from Romans 12:3. Themes: Humility, Reasonable Thinking, Faith Allocation.
Dear God, I thank you for the grace that you have given me. Help me to remember that I should not think of myself more highly than I ought to think. Instead, guide me to think reasonably and to recognize that you have apportioned to each person a measure of faith. May I always be humble and grateful for the gifts and abilities that you have given me. Amen.
Verse: For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Romans 12:3
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader not to think of themselves more highly than they ought to think, but to think reasonably according to the measure of faith given by God.
