Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you have found David, your servant, and anointed him with your holy oil. I claim this promise for myself today, knowing that you have chosen me and anointed me with your Spirit. Help me to walk in your ways and fulfill the purpose you have for my life. May your holy oil flow through me and empower me to do your will. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the privilege of serving you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
