Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you will judge the poor of the people, save the children of the needy, and break the oppressor in pieces. I pray that you will have mercy on those who are struggling and suffering in poverty, and that you will provide for their needs. I ask that you will protect and save the children who are in desperate situations, and that you will bring them into a place of safety and security. And I pray that you will bring justice to those who oppress and exploit others, breaking them in pieces and bringing an end to their wickedness. Thank you for your faithfulness and your love, and for the promises that you have given us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
