Father God, I claim the promise that my loved one shall go to the generation of his fathers and they shall never see the light. I trust in your unfailing love and mercy to guide him to the eternal rest that you have prepared for him. May he find peace and comfort in your presence, and may his soul be forever blessed in your kingdom. Thank you for your promise of everlasting life, and for the hope that it brings to our hearts. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
