Dear God, I come to you in prayer today, feeling alone and isolated. My lovers and friends have stood aloof from my plague, and my kinsmen are far away. But I know that you are always with me, even in the darkest of times. You have promised to never leave me nor forsake me, and I claim that promise today. I ask for your comfort and your presence to surround me, to give me strength and hope. Help me to trust in your goodness and your love, even when I cannot see it. Thank you for being my refuge and my strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
