Prayer based on Psalms 12:8. Themes: Sin, Evil, Exaltation

Dear Lord, we come before you today with heavy hearts as we see the wickedness that surrounds us. We pray that you would help us to stand firm in our faith and not be swayed by the evil that is exalted among the sons of men. Give us the strength to resist temptation and to walk in your ways. Protect us from the wickedness that seeks to destroy us and guide us towards righteousness. We ask for your mercy and grace to be upon us as we navigate through this world. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: The wicked walk on every side, when what is vile is exalted among the sons of men.
Psalms 12:8

This is a Command. The verse is a warning to the reader to be cautious and aware of the prevalence of wickedness when immoral behavior is celebrated and praised among people.
