Prayer based on Psalms 12:5. Themes: Oppression, Needy, Safety
Dear Yahweh,
I come before you today, acknowledging the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy. I thank you for your promise that you will arise and set us in safety from those who malign us.
I claim this promise for myself and for all those who are suffering under the weight of oppression and injustice. I trust in your power and your love to protect us and to bring justice to those who seek to harm us.
Thank you for your faithfulness and your mercy. I pray that you will continue to guide us and strengthen us as we seek to live in your ways and to bring your light to a dark and broken world.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: “Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says Yahweh;“I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”
Psalms 12:5
This is a Promise. Yahweh promises to arise and set the weak and needy in safety from those who malign them.
