Dear Yahweh, I come to you as one of your needy children, seeking your help and guidance in my life. I claim the promise that you hear the cries of the needy and that you do not despise your captive people. I ask that you would hear my prayers and come to my aid in my time of need. I trust in your unfailing love and mercy, and I know that you will never abandon me. Thank you for being a faithful and loving God. Amen.
