Prayer based on Psalms 79:11. Themes: Justice, Mercy, Power

Dear God,

We come before you with heavy hearts, thinking of those who are imprisoned and facing death. We ask that you hear their sighs and cries for help. We know that you are a powerful God, and we pray that you would use that power to preserve the lives of those who are sentenced to death.

We ask that you would intervene in their situations, bringing justice and mercy where it is needed. We pray that you would comfort those who are suffering, giving them hope and strength to endure their trials.

We trust in your goodness and your love for all people, and we ask that you would show your compassion to those who are in desperate need. May your grace and mercy be poured out upon them, and may they know that they are not forgotten.

We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Amen.
