Prayer based on Psalms 49:14. Themes: Death, Dominion, Decay.

Dear Lord,

I claim the promise that the upright shall have dominion over those appointed as a flock for Sheol. I trust in Your sovereignty and power over death, and I pray that You would guide me as I navigate this life.

I pray that You would help me to remain upright and faithful to You, so that I may have dominion over the forces of darkness that seek to lead me astray. I trust that You will preserve my beauty and my soul, even in the face of decay and destruction.

Thank You for Your promise of eternal life and salvation, and for the hope that You offer to all who believe in You. May I always trust in Your goodness and mercy, and may I live my life in a way that honors You and brings glory to Your name.

This is a Promise. The verse describes the fate of the wicked, who will be ruled by Death and decay in Sheol, while the upright will have dominion over them in the morning.
