Dear God, I thank you that you are in the heavens and that you do whatever pleases you. I trust in your sovereignty and your perfect plan for my life. Help me to surrender my will to yours and to trust that you are working all things together for my good. May I find peace and rest in the knowledge that you are in control and that your ways are higher than mine. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that you will never leave me nor forsake me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
Psalms 115:3

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that God is sovereign and has the power to do whatever he wants.
