Praying from Psalms 2:4. Themes: Judgment, Sovereignty, Mockery.

Dear Lord,

I come before you today claiming the promise that you who sits in the heavens will laugh and have those who oppose you in derision. I trust in your sovereignty and power over all things, knowing that you are in control of every situation.

I pray that you would continue to show your strength and might to those who seek to harm your people and your kingdom. May they see the error of their ways and turn to you in repentance.

Thank you for your faithfulness and for the assurance that you are always with us. May we continue to trust in your promises and find peace in your presence.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.
Psalms 2:4

This is a Promise. The verse suggests that God will mock and ridicule those who oppose him.
